Title: Disabling/Substituting Models Post by: nikki on August 11, 2008, 11:31:27 PM Hello!
I recently switched over to Linux, and I was looking for some games, and found this. I'm on a vacation, so have a laptop without a jazzy graphics card, and it seems OpenArena somehow runs pretty well on it. I was playing for a while and I suddenly saw a spider-like model. I have a little fear of spiders, and it was spoiling my concentration. Is there anyway to disable it, or substitute it with another model? Thanks a lot for the great game! ps. I'm a hobbyist programmer too, check out a game I made (Windows only) at the GraLL site (http://www.grall.uni.cc/). You can also set "force player models" on (in Setup -> Game Options), which makes everyone (including yourself) the default Grism character. Title: Re: Disabling/Substituting Models Post by: onykage on August 12, 2008, 07:37:01 AM you can also just type cg_forcemodel "1" in console.
