Post by: yanus on November 24, 2007, 09:14:17 AM
Yep,

after compiling the 0.7.1 version for linux i started oa... in the menu tha graphics were ok, but when i wanted to play, ive got really bad graphics (with default grapfic-settings): http://img510.imageshack.us/img510/5574/openarenakx8.jpg

all textes in the game are like the one on the console...

Now is my question how can i get normal textures... i mean these quality is not normal i guess...

btw, sorry for my english, but im german...

What is your r_picmip?

To find out type in the OA console /r_picmip

Also try out the pre-compiled OA to see if you still get these problems.

That is not related to your in-game resolution, nor picmip. It does look like OpenGL render isn't doing what it should, have you checked your drivers, does other games work or are there similar issues there?

r_ext_texture_filter_anisotropic 1
r_ext_max_anisotropy 8

or 16

which won't work if the drivers aren't set up properly

Code:
$ glxinfo | grep direct
