Generations and Openarena 0.8.5

Has anyone tried running Generations in OA 0.8.5?

When starting server and loading map everything stops with this error:

Code:

Default Arena Model /skin [visor/default] failed to register

and terminal outputs this:

Code:

Failed to load model file models/players/characters/visor/lower.md3

Anyone has any ideas? I tried setting model as sarge but game still outputs the error.

btw mod works perfectly in ioquake (doh visor is included in it ) + ModCompat page has OA version 0.7.7 set as compatible

Visor is missing. Thus, doing a "Visor replacement pack" might do the trick. (I.E. creating a Visor-ish -hi, 3D modellers- or using an already done model editing the paths so they can conduct to model/Visor instead of model/<modelname>)

I did it

Generation replacement pack. It uses default OA models as follows:

doom with sarge
ranger with beret
grunt with smarine
visor with sergei
anarki with tony

It's not perfect but makes Generations playable within OpenArena 0.8.5
