Personally I use Xqf on linux ->
http://www.linuxgames.com/xqf/index.shtml ... the latest svn version has introduced OpenArena support , but there's no binary version based on the latest sources : u have to checkout the sources and compile by yourself. ( At least I can provide an updated .deb if anyone is interested )
I found a projects called Monster Browser for windows ->
http://monsterbrowser.googlepages.com/ , but I don't know if OpenArena support is present or it could be added with a hack ( like in the stable binary xqf version ) by adding the address of the OA master server.
