This mod for the original Quake added new weapons, a class and magic system, and a lot of 'interesting' additions i've hardly seen anywhere else.
You could be a tigerman (in oa's case, nekoyss) who could climb walls and jump high and make roary noises.
You could be a borg that had phase variance for shields
there was also grappling hooks and shrink rays and freeze guns and flamethrowers and even gunslingers with six shooters

This was a fairly buggy mod though

It would be cool, if the action pack would contain some of this features
in a special game mode.
I don't think, it makes any sense to work on two mods at the same time.
