here's an idea that I would like to see in 1.0 (heh lol I know):
I want to be able to slide like in urban terror, it's fun and offers more gameplay tactics. How did UrT do this?

you mean power-sliding? because oa doesn't have stamina and sprinting, you would probably have to be strafe jumping to get up to speed

ya powerslide with strafe jumping, I thought thats how you do it in UrT too. Too bad they won't share their code Sad

Sliding?! I'd love to see that! After playing a lot of Quake 4, I can't play QIII Arena, QLive without my movement being buggered up by not being able to slide around corners to maintain my speed. It's very useful in duel and CTF. I hope this comes out in 1.0 .... whatever that means :S OA 1.0? U guys in beta? lol

Changing the game physics, movement, weapon damage/behaviour, etc to something outside of Q3 is stuff for a mod, not for the main game. The only exception ATM is the missionpack stuff. (Weapons and items)
