Port forwarding or firewall ?

Get inspired by posts like these, it's a common issue.

I try follow:

Code:
iptables -A INPUT -p udp -m udp --dport 27960:27963 -j ACCEPT
iptables -A OUTPUT -p udp -m udp --dport 27960:27963 -j ACCEPT

but no chance.

1) Checking your log from nearer, I wonder if master server answers you.

So it might be because of incoming port 27950 (UDP I think) which isn't allowed.

2) I also see this :
Code:
set m${var1} \ map $i
Are you generating your config file from a shell script ? You might try to start your server with very few settings, once you get it working with command line and it's listed, you can do more complex stuff.

3) That's stupid, but try adding bots to ensure your game is working and map is launched. Your "spawn functions" error messages in particular are intriguing.

Good luck Wink

I hate Linux for this Problems Smiley

I allow the Port 29750

I change the config to:
Code:
set sv_hostname "BeeZArena"
set sv_maxclients 12
set g_motd ""
set g_forcerespawn 15
set rconpassword "xyz"
set fraglimit 50
set timelimit 20
set sv_allowDownload 1
seta bot_enable "1"
seta bot_minplayers 4

Bots are working fine.

Code:
net_
    net_port6 = "27960"
    net_ip6 = "::"
    net_qport = "865"
    net_socksPassword = ""
    net_socksUsername = ""
    net_socksPort = "1080"
    net_socksServer = ""
    net_socksEnabled = "0"
    net_mcast6iface = "0"
    net_mcast6addr = "ff04::696f:7175:616b:6533"
    net_enabled = "1"
    net_port = "27960"
    net_ip = "78.46.73.75"

This Values i got in the console.
Maybe the ipv6 value is wrong ?

You only need net_port and net_ip, normally.
I don't know how to enable IPv6, but if you don't touch it, it should be fine. I doubt your machine is connected to an IPv6 network, is it ?

Is your server behind a router ? (does it use NAT ?)
