Title: Worldspawn key for specifying postprocess shader Post by: fromhell on March 14, 2015, 10:14:25 PM For certain maps like say a color correction shader or a gaussian blur shader, and there would be a key to specify the texture to use for the postprocess shader if it can use one (like a specific lookup table or a lens dust texture).
Just writing this idea down so I don't forget it. Sounds trivial to implement tbh, how i'll implement it would happen before r_postprocess's shader pass Title: Re: Worldspawn key for specifying postprocess shader Post by: Hitchhiker on March 15, 2015, 12:58:06 PM Possibly the instructions for postfx could be located in a small text file that could be stored with each map
(i.e. file 'oa_ctf4ish.pfx') containing postprocess instructions for oa_ctf4ish map - something along these lines: [beginning of file] ovelay textures\dust.jpg tonemap textures\sephia.jpg // even the entire postprocessing chain could be specified like this postprocess tonemap+dust+motionblur ... [end of file] Title: Re: Worldspawn key for specifying postprocess shader Post by: Gig on March 16, 2015, 03:26:54 AM Thread DO NOT LINK[/b]) h t t p s : / / openarena . wikia . com/index.php?title=Wishlist&diff=16879&oldid=16801]added to the wishlist page (http://([b) ((DO NOT LINK) h t t p s : / / openarena . wikia . com/wiki/Wishlist)
