Title: Using CTF Maps in FFA
Post by: Shael Riley on August 13, 2007, 11:37:13 AM
I've seen servers use CTF maps for FFA and Team FFA matches. How can I do this locally?

Open the console and write:
/g_gametype 0
to change to FFA and:
/map MAPNAME
to select a map to play FFA on.

You can use tab completion to see the names of the maps at the console. Just press Tab and the game try to guess what you are going to type and list suggestions just like in bash.

In the in-game console, type
Code:
/map <name-of-ctf-map>
while in a FFA/TDM game or in no game at all (just main menu).

I think playing FFA on CTF maps really sucks. Public servers shouldn't do that.

Individual choice, one ring can't rule them all..
