Well, if you are mapping you just put the desired content in it and leave the rest out, however you can also use certain mods to control the weapons, for example excessiveplus. Wondering, because it seemed in tact when I did it and now I'm wondering how blind I've gotten not to notice it, LOL! sadly i didn't take any pictures of the breakages, but there were a lot of them. many brushes were out of alignment and had to be deleted and remade. a lot of textures seemed to have changed and had odd rotation. the map wouldn't compile because of the number of leaks. i've read that you can decompile a bsp to a map file with q3map2, i don't know how well that works, but i might give it a go.
