Title: modding Post by: StarshipTrooper on January 10, 2008, 03:29:17 PM hello, if i were to make new weapon models for OP, what programs would i need to use? Then how would i export them to OP. And then where would i post them for others to download? If anyone knows, please tell me! Thank you! lolololol!
oh, and they should be free, available for mac osx and shouldnt have a very big file size Title: Re: modding Post by: kit89 on January 10, 2008, 04:10:19 PM Many will recommend Blender: www.blender3d.org
Some will recommend k3D, tho I have not used this program & I dont know if there is a .md3 export script for it. Blender has a .md3 export script(check the wiki for that), tho it is a very daunting program to start with. So unless you have prior 3D modelling experience, don't expect to be making amazingly cool models within the next few weeks. :) Title: Re: modding Post by: w1zrd on January 10, 2008, 11:57:41 PM What is OP? Some upcoming modification, or do you mean OPen arena?
