Title: Defeatism Post by: jackoverfull on March 05, 2008, 07:01:20 AM I'm a little wondered for the recent defeatism shown by leileilol…
When OpenArena started it become an open source project. One of the ideas of an oss project is that it can't really die if there is interest in it, even if the original devs abandon it… So, what's that "we are dead" thing on the home page? I know that leileilol currently has health problems that forbids he to continue his work on oa, but why start an open source project if not to have a community that can continue to improve the project if one has to leave? Hoping that everything gets solved, Jack Overfull Title: Re: Defeatism Post by: dmn_clown on March 06, 2008, 02:06:43 AM Lei's apparently upset with me because I had to badger him for contribution guidelines. He is the leader of the project it is his responsibility to provide those so everyone knows what they can submit, he should do everything that he can to remove the guesswork from contributing. His health issues shouldn't prevent that.
