So I started playing OA about a week ago so I'm not the greatest but I'm alright I suppose. Basically I'm just wondering if there are any casual clans or communities that I could join just so I can continue getting better and meet some other cool OA players. I'm not looking for any thing serious at the moment. So yeah, if any one can point me in the direction of some clan websites, I'd appreciate it. Thanks.

P.S. I searched this first but all I really found were more serious teams and whatnot.

First Narses, do you have any links to the other two clans you mentioned? I checked the russian site and seeing as it was all in russian and I don't speak russian, I don't think I'd fit in very well. lol

And Me, I look at that site earlier actually, and I actually registered for the forums, but from what I understood by reading the "Two Cents" sticky, you had to be pretty skilled to join. Was I wrong in assuming that?

Yes you are wrong. If I can speak in name of the whole team, we are interested in getting new members only if they are cool and respectful.
Skills are not a big deal since ME or anyone else from the team can give you some tips or training you. I cant spect you to be fully-skilled if u just dl'ed this game about a week ago.. so... The most important thing for -ME- is to have friendly and respectful ppl in the team, nothing else. If you want me to give you more explanations feel free to post in our forums, I guess this is not a good place to discuss that.

He gave up his superstar status to become a GPL hippy. He used to wear a cape and get things done quicker than lightning. Now he walks around with no shoes, no doubt  spending most his time reading the GPL bible and investigating any slight non-conformence of the code of conduct of his new religion.

IRC is for noobs. I would rather play OA, then come here and post important stuff.. and annoy you  :)

Not a clan but it's a good community driven by fairplay and with a warm atmosphere. You can find many useful informations there and don't fear to ask. There's no dumb questions.

Another thing: most of the players online will be very happy to help you. Do not hesitate to ask some teaching online while gaming. Myself I will be very happy to help you, through I do not play everyday.
