Tonight i got the NIQ3 (No item Quake) mod working in Open Arena! NIQ everyone has the same weapon, but they rotate. Help & ammo regen. It is the most level field way to play. It will show who has mad skillz and who is just rocket/rail whores. Niq is a lot of fun and has been around since the q2 days. I am in the process of setting up a dedicated linux server and will be running a Public Open Arena NIQ# server very soon (next few weeks) the mod is small 1.9 mb and the filename is niq3finalv1.zip - google it up if you cannot find it i will send it to you - drop me a line SlippJigg |
