What's your timezone and which servers you play ? (If people from here have to meet you on a server). You may tweak OA a bit so that : lag affects you less, same for FPS Improving visibility (brightness), using a better mouse ... all these things help ;) You may also learn some tricks, such as strafe jumping, rocket jumping ... if you haven't done so yet. Do some search on this forum, some advice have already been given. You may also use New Advanced ProGamer Sound System Deluxe Beta ( http://jolie.techa.free.fr/files/z_sons_debiles-0.2.pk3 ), and i'm quite sure you'll pwn him in return. Rest is practice. I think lag may play a part of it, ill try fix that! visibility too, sounds good. my mouse is hardcore, so ill leave that. Strafe jumping i kinda got, and rocket jumping i guess is the same as rocket jumping in UT? Haha i dont have much interest for sound in the game, as i put it very low, and play some trance album off itunes while i play! I may never pwn him! Better stop this darned essay and get practising! I definitely play worse with a lower framerate (like when running winamp). Having a higher framerate is another chunk of the battle. Practicing is the most important, though. Learn strategies, counterattacks, and how to win.
