I wanted to have 0.8.1 version but there is no instalation redme ... there is no instalation information on the net, even on wiki site there is no information. First came pak0.pk3, then, when they released new patch they made (added) pak1.pk3. And so forth- now its is pak8.pk3. Maybe he was referring to that- why download all paks anew?

There will be no 0.8.1 patch to just upgrade 0.8.0 due to the major changes between both packages. I'm not aware of any 0.8.1 Debian packages as of yet, though Google may bring something up. :) Title: Re: What for is that .zip file? Post by: menganito on November 18, 2008, 10:38:51 AM you can find debs (for ubuntu intrepid, but probably universal) here (http://www.getdeb.net/search.php?keywords=openarena), just force install them with dpkg.
