Title: Error: Bad Item Index 42 on Entity Post by: HITMAN on March 26, 2009, 03:26:20 PM I was recently given a demo and its trying load map 'ps5ctf'. Once it loads, i get the error stated in the subject. I have also seen this message when I try to access a certain map on someone server. Is this something I need to do on my end or is this a server side setting that needs adjusting? Also, if someone can explain what this means. I assume its a line of code that isnt corresponding well with the game.

I can only guess what the error means, and my guess is that the demo was made using a certain mod and you need to have and activate the same mod to play it (a mod which has more items than normal).
