I am simply trying to find the most popular open source FPS with an active fan base. I am presenting an opportunity to partner with the creator/developer. I've can now deduct that this is either "Openarena" or "Warsow." If someone point me to the creator of OpenArena, please let me know so i can PM him.

For example if it's a request you could just ask, or if it's content you could just show it.
