I hope it goes well for them. I remember what happened to Origin after EA aquired them. That was heart breaking. :'( Thanks to id software and friends for almost 2 decades of kick ass fps! - Elder Scrolls: Battlespire 2 by Id Software - Terminator: Absolute SkyNET Overkill by id software - Call of Cthulhu 2 finding his pants by id software - Fallout The Shooter by id software - Doom5 using Gamebryo - DRM all over id games and no linux version in sight - Close down of all developer wikis and resources to the public - Crap effort at advertising - id completely laid off or sold or renamed to "Bethesda Texas" (which would make no sense as there is no city named Bethesda in Texas.) - no more quakecon keynotes Title: Re: id Software sold out?
