Title: anything useful to be done with the Enemy Territory maps? Post by: befno on September 25, 2009, 11:59:16 PM Ok, i know they weren't made for this type of fast action game, and there are some technical differences between each game's engines which don't let some of the textures display correctly, but anyone know if there has been anything done with the multiplayer levels for Enemy Territory which Splash Damage released last year? I mean, the original quake 1 levels were incorporated into Open Arena, what about the Enemy Territory ones?

The Quake levels were ported because they (the textureless bare .map files) were released under the GNU GPL v2 license on Romero's site, which was permissive. Please correct me if im wrong. It'd be cool to see those maps appearing somewhere, even if only for the challenge. :)
