Title: Feature Request ... Post by: P . Scimmia on September 26, 2009, 02:12:19 AM I would like to request the function of storing passwords for private servers a while as it does with Firefox passwords ... I ask here or there is a site like bugzilla or lanchpad??
Title: Re: Feature Request ... Post by: RMF on September 27, 2009, 04:48:01 AM hmm I don't join a protected server that often (maybe once a month), but the idea is good.
btw you can also press the 'up-key' for the last entered command, if you use it a lot ;) Title: Re: Feature Request ... Post by: Cacatoes on September 27, 2009, 05:37:47 AM I'd even suggest you a bind.
Code: Bind p password bogdanraczynski There is no bugzilla for OA, maybe some bug tracking solution could have been useful. Title: Re: Feature Request ... Post by: RMF on September 27, 2009, 06:40:25 AM do binds also work when you're not playing then? I once tried something (dont remember which command it was) but it didn't work..
Title: Re: Feature Request ... Post by: Cacatoes on September 27, 2009, 08:04:21 AM Then it doesn't work, I haven't tried myself :D
I thought it could be working, worth trying ;) Title: Re: Feature Request ... Post by: RMF on September 28, 2009, 11:23:10 AM Doesn't work :(
Title: Re: Feature Request ... Post by: P . Scimmia on October 06, 2009, 11:22:56 AM still remains a good request! especially now that many are brewing Clan Open Arena !
Title: Re: Feature Request ... Post by: SlippJigg on October 11, 2009, 10:38:57 PM what you need my friend is a good server browser
for windows use Qtracker. Qtracker is the best, default support for Open Arena for linux use XQF and set it up under quake 3 areana Qtracker allows me to connect to my server and logs me in with not only the priviate client password but the rcon password as well. hope this helps you p.s. just remember...the built in server browser in quake 3 arena sucked then and does now.
