Title: Where is this stored?
Post by: CGB01 on April 29, 2013, 06:36:56 AM
After playing around and downloading tons of samples, I wanted to start with a fresh install of Open Arena as to not use shaders and textures I've downloaded all over the web.

So I created a new directory where I'm going to start with a fresh install of Open Arena and start adding my own created matrerial for the map/game I have in mind.

With nothing else installed in that directory when I start the game, my character is already defined and the levels are already completed.

Where is this info stored?  How to reset it?

Thanks,
-Claude.

Tried "Documents and Settings/<user>/Application Data/OpenArena"?

Wasn't there Neon_Knight, under Windows 7 it's; C:\Users\[username]\AppData\Roaming\OpenArena

And "AppData" is a hidden directory so you won't see it in Explorer.   >:(

Well, that folder, yeah.
Clean whatever you find there, or just move the "OpenArena" directory somewhere else.

Fs_homepath variable tells you the path you where your personal settings and autodownloaded files are. You can specify a different path at program lunch, if you need.
Fs_basepath variable tells you where the main program is installed (the folder where you have openarena.exe).
