Title: OA begins freezing and crashing after 15 minutes... Post by: invisible777 on February 18, 2007, 03:02:26 PM Hey... first, great mod/game, really great.
I'm having a problem with it freezing after 15-20 minutes though. I'll be playing normally, then all of a sudden, the frames crash so it's like I'm watching a slideshow. I'm running 1.8ghz, 1 gig of ram, ati radeon mobility 9000 on winXP pro. Any ideas? Thanks Title: Re: OA begins freezing and crashing after 15 minutes... Post by: fromhell on February 18, 2007, 03:09:16 PM Could be overheating. Slideshow you say? Could be the laptop processor trying to slow down to compensate the heat. I've seen Tbird 1ghz laptops slow to 166mhz when any 3d game is played, screwing up timings in many games (especially unreal engines of both generations).
