Title: Ubuntu Problem-Won't run OA-tried linopenal0a Post by: bokchoi on May 26, 2007, 07:22:06 PM Hey guys.
I recently installed Ubuntu to try it out and found Open Arena when looking for some games and decided to install. I installed OA through Add/Remove Programs and selecting it from the Universe. After installation, I clicked to open it through the Games menu and then my screen turns black-ish like its going to load, then it apparently crashes back to my desktop. Earlier, I had tried installing it through downloading the package from the terminal and installing it through the terminal. I read that I may need linopenal0a and I even installed that through the terminal. It still crashes after I click to run it so I'm desperately looking for solutions from anyone.
