Title: ATI + XGL + Ubuntu = Weird Ass Textures Post by: username on June 02, 2007, 06:08:41 PM So, I installed Ubuntu and installed the restricted drivers for my ATI Mobility x1400. I then proceeded to install Beryl/Compiz... Anyway, I booted up in XGL and I started testing out some 3D games. Both Nexuiz and OpenArena come up with nasty looking textures. Has anyone figured out how to play under XGL? Playing these games under a non-XGL session is OK but I get no Beryl goodness.
