Title: Name them! Post by: fromhell on June 14, 2007, 05:49:12 PM I haven't but we need input on what names these three characters should be. Their working titles are 'dmo' , 'hnt' and 'slshish'. We can't have these named that by release so pour your suggestions for names for these characters.
hnt's at the left (from a hot climate planet, 'perfect woman' cliche parody pretty much), dmo's at the right (scavenger) (http://openarena.ws/crap/hnt-pvomit5th.jpg) and this is slshish (japanese schoolgirl), or what so far is of it (http://openarena.ws/crap/oaslash9sml.jpg) (she also has high-tech hover boots) I will make poll threads after a sufficient amount of suggestions are made. Title: Re: Name them! Post by: Kojiro_S on June 14, 2007, 06:01:08 PM These are just random ideas, so don't kill me if you don't like 'em :(
dmo = Dover (dunno, he looks a bit russian) hnt = Mercury (for the winged head thingy) slshish = Lin (this really was just random) Title: Re: Name them! Post by: Lazureus on June 15, 2007, 01:17:01 PM DMO = Alex, Devlin, Yuri
HNT = Myra, Tanisha (black version), Hinako (dressed version) SLSHISH = Saki, Ayumi, Kaoru Title: Re: Name them! Post by: SAHChandler on June 15, 2007, 01:39:08 PM Dmo = Rostok (Kojiro's Right, He DOES look russian)
Hnt = Leira Slshish = Rai Kamishiro Title: Re: Name them! Post by: MilesTeg on June 16, 2007, 12:23:56 AM yup, now that SAHChandler mentions it Dmo looks a bit russian: maybe Boris, Aleksei or Viktor?
Title: Re: Name them! Post by: THOR on June 20, 2007, 09:39:50 PM DMO= Vladimir He looks like a dark individual.
HNT=No clue looks like a Valkyrie on spring break. Maybe Thor_zine lol. Slish+ Lin or Rin either would work nicely for that model Title: Re: Name them! Post by: w1zrd on June 21, 2007, 03:25:18 AM Here's my 4 1/2 cents..
HNT could well be Angeliq due to the kick-ass protective helmet. DMO does indees look russian, Dmitri, Sergei/Sergey or Stasi would suite. SLSHISH could be just about any eastern female name really, but Sun, Ping or Lin suits. Fewer syllables makes it easier for die-hard gamers to read. Title: Re: Name them! Post by: DeathByGuitar on June 23, 2007, 11:01:43 AM I 2nd Dimitri for the russian guy. I don't have any ideas for anyone else

Sergei/Sergey "Sergey" - is more correct transliteration. But "Sergei" is OK too. Good choice. Dmitri/Dimitri Correct transliteration is "Dmitriy" Vladimir - another popular Russian name Rostok "Rostok" isn't Russian name. "Rostik" is - diminutive form of "Rostislav". "rostok" in Russian literally mean "sprout". Stasi - not a Russian name too :) . There is name "Stas", short variant of "Stanislav". |
