It might be for backwards compatibility or whatnot but we are on version 0.7 and want people to use the latest, improved version, so why take the step backwards and allow the lesser version of it? As we have seen, it causes client issues since new players does not understand the differences between 0.6.0 and 0.7.0, hence it would be advisable to set a filter of some sort on the master server, we don't see any alpha 0.0.1 there any more, do we? ;)
