Title: Windows dedicated server
Post by: beast on September 08, 2007, 12:48:50 PM
I've got an early alpha version of the windows dedicated server for anyone that wants to give it a try.

There's still a lot not implemented, like console history, command completion, etc. But, if you want/need a windows dedicated server and are an adventurous soul, d/l and send some feedback.

This is created from the latest svn code from icculus.org for anyone looking for the source.

Here's the link... (http://www.vampireducks.com/download.php?view.5)

can you give the revision number next time because latest means a little for a svn repository
(it may change twice or more in a day) I hope it is after TJW's changes without it windows dedicated server is quite useless

I'm not sure what the relationship is with tremded...
This is from ioquake3...
For what it is worth, it is SVN 1171.

I have run it and others have run test servers, so it runs...

If you think it is useless, you are welcome to ignore the post or compile it yourself to make sure of what it is built from (that's why I posted where it came from...) I'm just trying to help out...
