Title: votes not visible Post by: pulchr on October 30, 2007, 09:16:47 AM very often when i play multiplayer and there's a vote for something, map change or to kick somebody etc the vote is not visible. i can see that there's a vote going on and i can vote yes/no - but i don't know what people are voting about.
anyone else experienced this? also, a lot of new players doesn't seem to know that you vote with F1/F2 (or you own keysettings if you can change them). why not display a more visible voting system. who requested the vote, what the vote is about and your current keysettings to give your vote? if i'm the only one that experienced these 'invisible votes'... doesn anyone what can be wrong on my side? It could be just another whitespace vote (looks like this (http://bugzilla.icculus.org/attachment.cgi?id=1080)). ioQ3/OA does no sanity checking on votes so if you run a vote with lots of spaces, you'll get an invisible vote.
