Title: How do I make my own maps? Post by: Apocalypse on November 04, 2007, 12:19:30 AM Everyone has to start somewhere...I think I have some good ideas for maps and would love to help make some for the next version of O.A.
Does anyone know where I can get started on learning how to make maps for this game? I'm a fast learner but my pc is a peace of crap compaq anyways that doesn't matter are there any F.A.Q.'s or something I that will get me started to learn how to make maps that hopefully can be used in an upcoming release of O.A.? as for the making - go to the openarena forums at openarena.ws then navigate to development / maps / and read a couple of posts there. usually you go with gtkradiant to create your own maps. there should be a couple of threads as how to setup gtkradiant for openarena editing.
