Title: this game has adware Post by: - on August 18, 2008, 01:04:27 PM I noticed everytime I play Open Arena, my Spy Sweeper finds an adware called Powerstrip. it might be a good idea to find where it's hiding and get rid of it in the next release.

Maybe you're confusing it with AlienArena2008 which did have some suspicious ware with it. Thats why it's called everytime you launch a game like OpenArena. You can uninstall it from the windows control panel. More infos on Softpedia (a software repository specalised in adware-free softwares): http://www.softpedia.com/progDownload/PowerStrip-Download-6833.html 2- OpenArena is a free software (as in beer and free speech) so you can take a look into the sourcecode if you doubt. 3- Take another spyware spotter like SpyBot, because Spy Sweeper is highly unreliable.
