I have been using Openarena since 0.7.0, and i recently upgraded to 0.8.0. the upgrade went fine, but now i cant create a server because my friends are stuck is awaiting challange........ i know that there is a patch out, but the files that are included are for windows, and i use ubuntu!!!!!!!!!!! is there even a linux patch, or am i missing something?? if anyone knows anything, PLEASE post!! thanks in advance! it turned out that i had downloaded and installed the .deb package for ubuntu, and it did not support the patch. [it used modified .bin executables in system directories] i got the original .zip and i see the 2 executables .i386. i applied the patch and everything works fine |
