Hello, I would like another player model with bigger tits and a skimpier outfit =). Just love spending my lunch at work with my collegues, running around, watching tits and shooting big-ass guns. Unfortunatly, this is frowned upon in real life, so we turn ourselves to Open Arena.

You save my day, every day.

Why are there nude skins when "no nudity" is in the NOTTODO?

not no nudity means nudity right?

I think this means no nudity in the releases. Otherwise, do whatever makes you happy(and/or horny).

the nudity could be zapped since in 0.9.0 angelyss is re-uv'ed and the nude skins are no longer compatible

meh, some pervs on some nude site like gamevixens or something can photo someone on there themselves. With Blender 2.49 thats easier than ever now with projection paint. And in OA3.X there's less emphasis for alpha so clothes will be hard-modeled making doing nude skins impractical as a side effect, which is ironic given the ecchi inspiration for some of the characters

also the uncutpack readds vocal swearing that was cut such as holynone sense and kissmyass

How did you make a .pk3 out of that its just an archive WTF?

You know, if something can be zipped, it can be pk3ed as well.

Because the pk3 is just a renamed zip archive, that's a really easy task.

You're kidding, right? I mean why would it matter..

you seem to have windows (according to the 'howto make server' topic) so this ifnot sorry this won't work: Select the files and folders you want to put in the zip (or pk3 in the end), then rightclick on one of them, and in the 'send to' submenu choose 'compressed folder'. It'll automaticly create the zip file in the same folder as the original files are.
Then to rename it to .pk3 instead of .zip, you need to be able to view file extensions. An extension is what comes after the last . in the filename. So abc.doc has the extension doc, and asdf.zip has the extension.zip. By default those are hidden by windows, so you gotta change the setting by going to any folder (windowskey+e, or start>my documents/my computer/whatever), then click the extra menu and choose folder options. On the tab 'view' there is an options 'hide extensions for known filetypes' or something similar. Untick that box and click OK at the bottom. You now see and can edit the extension of each file.
Go back to the zip you created (which shows .zip now if all is right), select it and hit F2 (or rightclick>rename if you prefer that) and name it whatever you want but replace .zip with .pk3. Now it is magicly transformed into a pk3 file as the only difference is the name ^^
Btw before OA loads it, you'll need to put it in the baseoa directory. I am not 100% sure of this, but afaik the name of the .pk3 doesn't matter and you can put it in 2 places: the folder where openarena.exe is / baseoa (so like C:\program files\openarena-0.8.1\baseoa), and the baseoa folder in your application data (%appdata%\openarena\baseoa). To get into the appdata, you can do it two ways: show hidden files and folders (almost the same way as we enabled the show extensions, only this time set the option 'show hidden files and folders' right) and then move to:
2000 / XP: C: > Documents and Settings > your username > application data > openarena > baseoa
Vista / 7: C: > Users > your username > appdata > roaming > openarena > baseoa
Another way is press windowsKey+R (or start>run for WinXP), and then type "%appdata%\openarena\baseoa" (without quotes).
So well what you gotta do there is basicly just drag the file there or copy/paste it, just the way you move files normally too, and it should work (*IIRC) :)

I'm not a complete n00b (Not offending any n00bs =D) i knew what a zip was way back when i had windows 95 (The simple days) thank you for your very VERY simple explanation ion how to do this but as i said "i think ill just abandon this topic" I'm pretty much just going to abandon this topic =D
