Well, WtOA is finally done :D :D Unfortunately the upload to youtube failed, so it got uploaded onto vimeo instead. Apparently Vimeo doesn't like gaming videos, so we shall see how long this stays up for. I am looking for another way to put this up right now. Hope you enjoy the frag video! :D

Vimeo is very strict about content and they've been in the past against any game videos. Upload it somewhere else.

It's getting nice comments! Good thing about Facebook is that their video quality is _much_ better than Google's or Vimeo's. You can actually watch and enjoy it.

Gerb should post a short tutorial/walkthrough on making such videos. I'm interested in tools used, etc.

As usual Gerbil you did a good job on that video. Very nice. :)

I know it was only done over a week but still, lot of average frags... though a few nice rockets. Music syncing wasn't bad and faces/comments on video were a nice touch. I'd use cg_draw2d 0 next time though! Will make video look a lot better. Also maybe some q3mme and video effects? =)

Ya, if I make another video, I will try to remove the average frags :P, it will be done over a longer period of time. I thought about using cg_draw2d, but I needed my timer in order to find what time each frag occured at in my recorded demo ;) I could try to do it with cg_draw2d for next time though :)
sorry, I am a newb when it comes to video editing, what is q3mme?

I used "/record" to record a demo, I wrote down the times of interest on a piece of paper. Then "/demo <demoname>" to play it back, then "/video" during the times I had previosly recorded. This saved them as a .avi file. I then imported to iMovie, and did all the editing there ^_^
