edit: or this is a conspiracy Title: Re: How come when I play Post by: jessicaRA on December 02, 2008, 02:03:20 AM i believe fromhell can play oa good and probably better than me given the shorter time ive had on oa, i would like to see your score as a result of a game like this some time on dm6ish/slimefac in tourney. i think dm6ish is kinda balanced for stuff bots and humans are good and bad at apart from the trouble bots have with a certain jump pad. slimefac may be good too because i bet major will go straight for rails and armour but i havent tried it yet for this.
start openarena with +set bot_thinktime 8 +set bot_challenge 1 then add a level 5 bot which has decent weapon weights like ayumi/dark/major.. its pretty hard lol the default for bot_thinktime is 100 so can restore it after. you can try it at 0 but i see very little difference in difficulty from 8. i dont think the score says much there, are in the lead and probably could be by much more but, with bots at that level it does kinda make us feel like slowing down because its too easy lol. i myself score close to my catkins bot with those settings and only a little ahead because i nab the quad grab some frags then hide again, then again my aim sucks and i need to play more sneaky because of it. this is one of my recent games, i must have been hyper and caffinated lol.. i usually cant last out 5 minutes nevermind 37 http://jessicara.co.uk/src/img/shot0002.jpg (http://jessicara.co.uk/src/img/shot0002.jpg) and in other games i get like -3 to 63 lol.
