Title: Multiplayer Mode Kills the router Post by: NewGuy on December 05, 2009, 11:59:03 AM I know it sounds odd, but it has happened 4 times in a row. Every time i click multiplayer, it tries to scan the network the wireless router disconnects me, stops broadcasting, and will not work again until i unplug it. The router is a d-Link. It works fine with my Linksys though. Any ideas on what is wrong would be helpful.

The router in this case stops broadcasting the wireless signal and drops all clients. It must be a router issue like they mentioned. It probably cannot handle the responses. I guess i will not be buying a D-Link router. Thanks for the replies.
