Title: Importing content
Post by: Bane on January 03, 2010, 09:47:11 AM
Hi
I was just downloaded a model file and I was wondering if I could use it in this game. The game it was made for was alien arena which I think uses the quake engine like open arena and is also free. Also it was not a stock model but one a person (Jonn Gorden) in the community made.

If it is in .md3 format you can place it in the baseoa folder and see if it appears in the models menu ingame.

I think it is in md2 format can that be converted to the md3 format?

click (http://lmgtfy.com/?q=convert+md2+to+md3)

Didn't test it (I don't have any models nor the time to get one) but google shows some results which seem good.

Well... you CAN import md2 in blender, and export md3 out of that.
