Ok so every time i go into games i can expect 1 thing that if its less than 2 people in a game Its probably a bot against bot. and earlier i was lurking through servers and only once ONCE did i find a REAL person WITH FEELINGS  and NEEDS. (of course i dont care about Those) but still it would be nice if i could play with so people PLEASE leave names of  GOOD SERVERS that have people not bots. im getting very tired of the bots dry humor O.O

 

Forgive me the lazy answer... but have you tried playing with that "Only humans" option in the server select screen?

Well it depends where your from aswell. Me being from america and there is such a small NA playing base. Most NA tend to play in the evening/night american time (sorry i dont know GMT times. :P).

Well here are some of the popular NA servers i know of.

/N/Servers: (CTF)
   /N/CTFinsta
   /N/ R&R (Rocket and rail mod)
   /N/Jewctf (a joke name :P)

Ciggaweed (FFA)

Here are some of the EU popular servers im aware of (All of the following are CTF.)

Evil|Insta+Rj (rocket and rail mod aswell)
ROFL Instantgib!
3w clan insta
supeR, CTF
supeR, Instantgib

I'm sure there are others. These are the ones that i know of cause i play on. :P
Just remember the EU player base is much bigger than the NA player base. :)

The ROFL All Rockets CTF is also fairly popular. ;)

Dots' list is pretty much definitive, though; I also happen to be from North America and so when I play in the evening, it's between 11 PM and 4 AM where those European servers are, and almost no one is on. But the small amount of NA players do tend to congregate on the ::FF:: or /N/ servers and we have a good time (don't we? :))

A lot of servers don't get much play because they're too limited. ROFL has a bunch of servers with almost every gametype (yet I swear I've never seen an admin), and the two well-known FFA DM servers (Digichalk and Ciggaweed) are really all the FFA madness we need.

anyone can connect to any server. So you can't say where the good players are by telling a servername.
Use the serverlist to look where are players and where are bots (http://dpmaster.deathmask.net/?game=openarena&showplayers=1)

I don't think he was asking for where the good players but for names good servers. And by that i assumed he meant servers that are usually active with players. :P Which is why i made the little list.

But yes that link RMF posted is very useful. I use it before determining where i will play.

I sometimes do too, but usually too lazy to first open my browser, open the website, look through all the servers, close my browser (or win+d it), open openarena, choose the server, and play.
