Title: svn 1031?
Post by: Redshirt on January 17, 2007, 04:57:19 AM
If anyone is interested, I compiled OA client against ioquake3 1031.

This simply updates the Open Arena Binaries to IOQUAKE3 svn 1031 which has a handful of fixes and security updates.

I also added in cl_multiuser so that you can decide if you want your configs, screenshots, videos, downloads saved in the 'Application Data' folder in windows.  It defaults to 0 which behaves as quake3 originally behaved.    The whole Application Data folder was driving me crazy when I'd play on windows.. ... No I mean..really crazy..    It makes sense if you got more than one person using your computer... but I wanted the option for myself.

/Windows - Contains replacement windows .exe
/Linux - Linux Binaries
*.patch - Patch file... Patch against ioquake3 svn 1031.  Then follow the build instructions @ http://www.ioquake3.org

That's all.

worked great for me! I just used your patch as a reference to edit the necessary files. I skiped your windows edits and added a few mac ones. ./make ; cp ; fight! :D
