Post by: Lokesh1996 on June 08, 2011, 09:08:51 AM
Hello All,

keeping in mind that Open arena is an open source implementation of Quake III (i think)
I was wondering even in the web site's PHP scripts are also source code??

i really like the template and the ribbon of this website and so i taught i'll ask whether it will be available for download

My appologies if i am not supposed to ask this question

Hello,

First, you may have noticed the website uses both e17 and SMF.
SMF doesn't sound so opensource ( http://www.simplemachines.org/about/opensource.php ), while you can get it for free.
e107 is GPL.

So you can get the PHP scripts.

The design was made by Udi, it reuses OpenArena GPL textures and it's likely the CSS is GPL or at least shareable, though I don't know if there are any repository where you can download it, you could eventually rip them, or bug Udimanche (http://udionline.hu/en/projektek/openarena/) or Fromagedel'enfer to get some zip with it.

Here are the theme sources:

E107: openarena-theme_v1.1.zip (http://udionline.hu/fajlok/openarena-theme_v1.1.zip)
SMF: openarena_smf_1.0.zip (http://udionline.hu/fajlok/openarena_smf_1.0.zip), openarena_smf_patch1.zip (http://udionline.hu/fajlok/openarena_smf_patch1.zip) (a patch was made because the icons were too large)

The E107 package has more images, both packages have all the GIMP files in the !src! folder.
