Title: Taunt ideas Post by: fromhell on October 18, 2011, 05:08:00 PM Coming up with taunt animations for characters is almost as hard as the characters themselves. Taunting expresses character sometimes as well as the chatlines, and most of the characters have generic LEFT ARM POWER! taunts. Let's break some of that 'left arm power' creative block together!
Green is a new idea. Angelyss ... Arachna Spit shines left hand...with WEB. Assassin A knife comes out of nowhere (back?), grabs it in the air and quickly stabs lefthanded Ayumi Giggles w/ hand ...and maybe call you a baka (GratituousJapanese) Beret Flexes left bicep which suddenly bulges (scale bone weight) Gargoyle ... Kyonshi A bow Liz ... Major ... Merman FINS GET BIG AN HUGE, a bulge of water goes from the torso working suddenly out the mouth spewing water everywhere. Neko Arms downward, face up, "NYAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAANNNNNN~~~~~~~!" Penguin ... Sergei ... Smarine ... Sorceress Takes out a violin and plays a ditty Sarge(Grism) Throat slit. Gargoyle: A reference to Mr. Firebrand should be necessary (?) J/K aside, I don't know, he does a small jump and uses his wings to levitate while laughing? Liz: Uses his tongue to catch an imaginary insect and then uses his hand to do a circle gesture in his stomach? Major: "Mission accomplished" MK9!Sonya-like. Penguin: A bit of humour, the peak closes "I cannot see a damn" and he does an effort to open them again? Sergei: Same as Major? Tony: Checks his gun? Penguin should keep the 'ownage' phrase because it's a real taunt, possibly while doing a chicken dance. Edit: Sergei's you should be exclaimed.
