Title: OA and AMD Performance Drivers Post by: dbX on October 19, 2011, 12:15:49 AM Two days ago I started playing RAGE on my laptop (Radeon HD6650 and a i3 2310M). Since RAGE did not work installing the AMD Performance Drivers helped, but then OA does not want to work, It starts and freezes, and does not respond. The intro video does not even show. Has anybody else encountered this issue or has any ideas? After work I'll try some other OpenGL games and see how they work. I can always play using the integrated Intel graphics, but the performance makes it drop a few frames during nasty situations (I guess I could always cut down on the effects or resolution). Before this I used the 11.4 drivers which come from Lenovo.
Title: Re: OA and AMD Performance Drivers Post by: dbX on October 19, 2011, 09:05:48 AM Okay, it seems the "performance drivers" are not exactly stable, so this may be a problem with AMD messing up OpenGL. Hopefully this will be corrected with the next stable drivers.
