While it looks good, I think the "shininess" or "glowiness" of everything is too much and would become tiresome after a short while. That may improve once they make some real (textured) maps. I also thought that 1/3rd of a million dollars (Australian) is a heckava lot to ask for a game that is essentially Quake3 gameplay. Matchmaking is offered by Quake Live currently. Easy editing would be nice, though it has been done before (Cube / Sauerbraten). I'll be interested if they actually raise the money -- a real masterstroke of marketing if they do. |
