Title: 20 sky textures for y'all.
Post by: kick52 on June 11, 2007, 01:05:48 AM
I whipped up a load of skies, though I couldn't get them to scroll using nitesky's shader :/ for some reason. (It must be me, because I know nothing about shaders)

But anyway, they are 256x256, and they come in all different colours etc.

Have fun.

BTW, If someone could make a shader that would be great, and I'd update it.

For the sake of clarity, when hosting submissions on a third party site and not uploading directly to the forum, please include the relevant licensing info, this is usually done by including a text copy of the GPL in the zip or pk3 if you intend to release the compressed files under the GPL.

There is already one map that has been submitted where the licensing information is unclear and the links to the pk3 suddenly died and no explanation has been forthcoming (this is why dm17ish is not currently being distributed).

Malikith's forum posts explaining that he released the map under the GPL may not hold up in court (unless someone can provide a link to court documents where a web forum post wrt licensing information has held up), so please do us a favor and include the relevant licensing information in your compressed file, on the header of the map, or in the exif information of the image so there can be no doubt as to your intentions in the event that you suddenly cannot be reached. :)

That being said, are these GPL textures?

whoops, sorry dude. yeah, i made them myself, in photoshop...
ok, i didnt save any psds of them all so i will have to make them all again :/
i'll have them later...
and btw, why dont you come on irc more often?

EDIT
ok, GPL'd. leileilol informed me that I didn't need to include the PSDs as I didnt use any layers, so that should be fine, yeah?

I have updated it, with the license. Same link as before.

don't sweat it, it was more of a request so that we can distribute stuff that people submit without a doubt :)

Many reasons, the main one being lack of time,  that and I can't stand that dmn_clown character.  He's a bastard.

these were committed and used in a couple of new sky shaders.
