Title: Older versions (false alarm, sorry.)
Post by: MaxtotheMax on June 17, 2007, 12:49:38 PM
Okay, as you can tell by the message icon I chose, I have a question.

Y'see, I'm planning to build a very small computer running Linux (D. S. L. to be precise) and take that with me to various gaming events so I can play without worrying about loosing my main computer. OA has very low system requirements so it'll be perfect. However, a lot of these events require anything you're running to be work safe, by which I mean "Not including a scantily clad busty female anime character." Is there anywhere I can find an older linux installer for a version of OA that doesn't include said character, or am I just stuck?

(Just as an aside-- is it possible to get a FireWire flash drive?)

The current version 0.60 does not include "a scantily clad busty female anime character".

Not that I think they would mind at my job, except for the fact that they expect me to work.

you can always open pak2-players and remove the hnt and slshish folders and open pak6-misc and remove the respective bots for said events it should run without issue, just turn bot chats off when 0.7 is released.

That should solve your dillemma :)

There's also /cg_forcemodel 0 which I've recently discovered to be awesome.

No problem. We aren't pervs, we just follow q3's design cliches (and parody them, somewhat)
