Title: Newbie mapper Question Post by: Sausage on July 30, 2007, 04:13:20 AM Im new to Q3A mapping, and i have a map i want to test with bots.
My problem is BSPC (version 0.05) won't actually create the .aas file for the bots, instead it created a log file telling me that it leaked, but theres no leaks in the map. So, is there something i'm doing wrong / A different program to use? Thanks for the help - Sausage. Title: Re: Newbie mapper Question Post by: hyp3rfocus on July 30, 2007, 05:01:24 AM hello sausage, i'm learning to map too.
i find that bspc never compiles aas files unless you use the forcesidesvisible option. like so... bspc -forcesidesvisible -bsp2aas mapname.bsp hope this helps. Title: Re: Newbie mapper Question Post by: Sausage on July 30, 2007, 06:07:20 AM Command promt:

Is there an updated version or something....? Title: Re: Newbie mapper Question Post by: hyp3rfocus on July 30, 2007, 07:48:35 AM that red's a bit harsh on the eyes. :-(
i'm using gtkradiant 1.5 which i got from here... http://www.qeradiant.com/cgi-bin/trac.cgi ...and it came with a version of bspc that has the forcesidevisible option. i'm using the linux version, but i imagine the windows version should have the same features.
