http://www.gp32x.de/PandaFront.jpg (Just a Render)

600mhz cpu, opengl graphics card, wifi+bluetooth+usb, 800x480 touchscreen, full qwerty keyboard + gameing controls, and about the size of a ds. oa and the pandora are made for each other. It's still in the development/prototype stage, but it is very promising and I want one! There's finally a video of the graphics hardware running on a devboard in the blog http://openpandora.org/blog.php

It's been a while and this is an old topic, but the Pandora is FINALLY almost out of development and has started small scale mass production. The motherboard, battery, and screen are all finished. The case is almost done and it runs Quake3 really well fullspeed with 10 hour battery life. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6qcnqLZC_uY

Oooohh, shiny!

Do you think the input scheme will be able to do an fps like q3a justice? The guy in the video is playing like a keyboarder. Wink

I don't really know how well the controls work, but it does have usb so hooking up a mouse and keyboard would be easy.

Did someone say Eee PC?

Seriously, get that instead. It's larger screen, good battery life, and costs same or less...

The Eee PC is not comparable. You can't hold it and use it at the same time. It's too big.
