Hi, i have a problem with OA

When i click on oa icon on desktop, i can see only this stupid message about Error! http://img133.imageshack.us/img133/7577/chybavk9.jpg

chyba = error
ano = yes
ne = no

Also when i clicked on Yes, message with text from console was created...

But i really dunno what should i do? Before i ran OA 081 and 080 normally, but now suddenly it doesnt work...

071 works fine!

and i have win xp (if you need to know that)... PLS Help me!

Can you try running openarena.exe +set in_mouse "-1" ?

hi all,

I have veeerrryyy BIG Problem......

/seta cg_truelightning "0,7" doesnt go......

In total commander I deleted all files of all mods....newmaps, corkscrew etc. beyond baseoa..

Then I started OA 081 and did all things at system, game options and controls...
In main menu I opened console and wrote all commands....sole server where I had all that was RN|TOURNEY3......

But the bigest problem is I cant play without cg_truelightning 07, it is my most favourite gun with which i frag mostly enemies..


Can anybody advise me, please?

Not really related to the topic.

I tested it and cg_truelightning 0.7 works but only if hitscan prediction is off.

Narses: try clickin Yes, then the Console error text wil ve copied to clipboard, then go to a text editor (notepad, gedit, whatever) and pres Ctrl + V to paste it, maybe something useful will come off of it...

I'm not sure but this problem could be related to SDL.
I suppose drivers of your graphic card are up to date, and that other 3D/OpenGL applications do work.

Which .exe do you run when starthing OA ?
openarena.exe ? openarena-deprecated.exe ? openarena-legacy.exe ?

I'm not sure if each one of these versions can use the same SDL.DLL file.

You may try to rename your SDL.DLL file to SDL.DLL.BAK, and copy SDL.DLL from an older installation of OA into 0.8.1 directory, just as a test to see if it works better Wink

I may be totally wrong, but worth trying Cheesy
