Hello all,

I just started playing OA recently and I liked it so much I started 4 new servers and a nice statistics page. anyway.

I wanted to try some different stuff with my servers,

1.) I wanted to make a server that people can submit (upload) their own maps to and it will be queued in line as a nextmap.. I don't think it would be that difficult to do. (wdyt)
2.) This is what I am not too sure about.. Having an in-game vote for the current map. I guess have a script to watch the games.log and pick up votes, tally and report to the website/in-game

Anyone one know of any in-game interactive scripts etc? that are controlled outside the game? I would like to see some examples to know what are good vectors for achieving this..

You can use the games vote system. /callvote map whatever. You will need to check the docs (or the wiki?) i guess.  I'm not sure if anything has been added to the vote code.

If you want more configuration options I would give noghost a try...

These guys had at one point (or still have) such a server.
