different error message

hey guys,

I decided to give vector linux a try, enjoying thus far but openarena doesnt want to co-operate with me :S.

heres the error I get when trying to run the binary of 0.60

/usr/local/games/openarena/ioquake3.i386: error while loading shared libraries: libopenal.so.0: cannot open shared object file: Error 40

I've got it there, but it doesnt like it :s. I compiled it from source too. I did notice though that the library files are placed in

/usr/local/lib/libopenal.so.0

knowing from my last distro that open arena looks in /usr/lib/openal.so.0

all I did was create a symbolic link to put it where openarena looks for it. but I guess its not liking the symbolic link :S.

Add /usr/local/lib/ to /etc/ld.so.conf and run ldconfig
